6 MAINTENANCE AND REPAIRS

6. MAINTENANCE AND REPAIRS
The safety information from item 2 Safety must be observed.
DANGER!
The control unit normally requires no special maintenance work, as the device is installed in a well protected envi-
ronment in the control cabinet.
This also applies to cleaning.
The function of the control unit, however, has to be monitored in connection with the overall system because this unit
is a safety-relevant assembly.
In connection with replacing magnets and other system components, it also has to be ensured that all connections
are in technically sound condition. The system owner is responsible for checking this. It forms part of safe operation.
In case of error messages of the control unit, these errors have to be checked and eliminated immediately!
Risk of electric shock!
An electric shock can cause death or serious injury.
The hazards already listed in the "Safety" chapter can occur during mainte-
nance. In addition, hazards can occur which arise from open devices and
the resulting interventions.
Maintenance and service work may only be carried out with the cont-
rol unit switched off, disconnected from the power supply and secured
against reactivation!
Maintenance tasks may only be carried out by qualified personnel.
