Magnet connection

The magnet is connected with the magnet connection terminal, also refer to the circuit diagram examples in the
appendix (9.7 Example circuits).
Figure 5: Magnet connection terminal
Ensure correct polarity when connecting the magnet.
The cable must be < 30 m, whereby a voltage drop of max. 2 % is permitted.
The PE conductor of the magnet must always be connected.
The rules as per the VDE DIN 100 series of standards applies for electrical wiring.
The terminals are rate for cables from 1.5 mm² to 16 mm². Rigid and flexible conductors can be used.
We recommend using wire end ferrules.
DANGER!
Risk of electric shock!
The magnet connection of the control unit always has the same potential as
the power supply, it is not galvanically isolated from the power supply.
The magnet connection therefore carries extremely dangerous live voltage!
An electric shock can cause death or serious injury.
The operating and ambient conditions according to chapter 9.1.4 must be
observed.
The mains connection must be provided with a circuit breaker. The
maximum current to be protected is 32 A. Attention must be paid to
a suitable switch-off characteristic.
