in connection plan.
A water flow plan can be found on the

inside of the motor cover.
Unit must be connected to a cold water

label on water inlet.
Find information on water quality and

water hardness at your local water
supply company.
Before carrying out the water

connection, rinse the customer's water
line.
Customer is to install a stop valve (Y)

with drain sieve.

Water pressure (flow pressure) must be
•
min. 200 kPa (2bar) and max. 600 kPa
(6bar). For combi steamers with
automatic cleaning (CONVOClean
system) flow pressure should be min.
300 kPa (3bar).

Water conducting capacity must be
•
between 10 - 200µS/cm.
The water must have the following
•
characteristics:
–
pH: 6.5 – 8.5
–
Cl

Fe ≤ 0.1 mg/l

If the chlorine value (Cl) is exceeded or
•
for the combi steamer OEB/OGB the
water hardness is > 18° dH (33° fH; 23°
eH; 320 ppm (USA)), a hydrogen ionic
exchanger (V) is recommended.
For combi steamer OES/OGS a
•
hydrogen ionic exchanger (V) is
absolutely essential (partial
desalinization system i.e. from the
company Brita) if the water hardness is
> 7° dH (13° fH; 8.8° eH; 125 ppm
(USA)).
Attention: On all units, note the

residual hardness of the
demineralized water after the
softening:
