In areas with particularly hard water we recommend installing a water treatment filter in the water sup‐ ply input to the Convotherm 4 combi steamer. Modern water treatment systems (e.g. Brita PURITY) help to guarantee optimum water quality for wear-free use.

6.5 Installing the fully automatic oven cleaning system 6.5.1 Cleaning methods Cleaning methods The Convotherm 4 combi steamers offer fully automatic oven cleaning. The ConvoClean+ cleaning system is included as standard with easyTouch appliances. The ConvoClean cleaning system is avai‐ lable as an option for easyDial appliances.

Easy to use, practical and convenient to operate and with low power consumption: what more could you want? Appliances can be readily retrofitted with condensation hoods.
7 Appliance options and accessories 7.2.2 ConvoVent 4 ConvoVent 4 condensation hood The ConvoVent 4 condensation hood switches on automatically when the combi steamer is operating. The hood captures and condenses the steam from the air vent. It also extracts and processes any va‐ pour that escapes when the appliance door is opened.
The built-in vapour condenser is worth using when the appliance is employed heavily for steaming, ba‐ king or regenerating and there is no possibility of fitting a ConvoVent / ConvoVent+ condensation hood. The vapour condenser with built-in condensation module is an appliance option for Convotherm 4 combi steamers. It cannot be retrofitted. Principle of operation The exhaust air is ducted through a labyrinth in the built-in vapour condenser.
