WARNING! Never use a machine with

faulty safety equipment. The machine's
safety equipment must be checked and
maintained as described in this section.
If your machine fails any of these checks
contact your service agent to get it
repaired.
This section describes the machine´s safety equipment,
its purpose, and how checks and maintenance should be
carried out to ensure that it operates correctly.
Check safety equipment daily.
Lower support wheel.
Raise the grinding unit with the support wheel so that
it does not rest on the ground.

Main switch

The main switch is used to switch the electricity supply to
the machine on and off.
Checking the main power switch
Check that the emergency stops on the main control
panel and on the control panel are not depressed by
turning them clockwise.
Turn the main switch to position '1' to start the
machine.
Turn the main switch to position '0' to cut the power
and check the machine stops.

MACHINE´S SAFETY EQUIPMENT
Start/stop control on control
panel
STOP/RUN control used to start and stop the grinding
unit.
Checking start/stop control on control
panel
NOTICE! The machine is in operation during the check.
Check that the emergency stops on the main control
panel and on the control panel are not depressed by
turning them clockwise.
Turn the main switch to position '1' to start the
machine.
Turn the switch on the control panel to '0' for manual
operation.
Start the grinding unit by turning the STOP/RUN
switch on the control panel to RUN. The grinding unit
will then start smoothly and accelerate to the set
speed within 5 seconds.
Turn the STOP/RUN switch to STOP. Check that the
grinding unit stops after approximately 2.5 seconds.
