Connection to the outdoor unit
There is a closing valve inside the outdoor unit.
Use to evacuate the local
refrigerant piping and additional
charging with refrigerant. Open and
close with a double-spanner. Be
sure to fit the cap again after
completing the operation.
Securely fit the packing (packed
together) into the flange of the valve
to prevent gas leaks. Apply
refrigerating machine oil to both end
faces of the packing.
Use to evacuate the local
refrigerant piping and additional
charging with refrigerant. Open and
close with a double-spanner. Be
sure to fit the cap again after
completing the operation.
Securely fit the packing (packed
together) into the flange of the valve
to prevent gas leaks. Apply
refrigerating machine oil to both end
faces of the packing.

Valve stem
The handle is fully closed when
shipped from the factory, during pipe
connection work, vacuuming and
charging with additional refrigerant.
Stopper pin
The valve stem turns up to 90 degree.
Service port
Use to evacuate the local refrigerant
pipe and additional charging with
refrigerant. Open and close with a
double-spanner. Be sure to fit the cap
again after completing the operation.
(Cap tightening torque: 11.8 - 14.7N•m)
