Replacing the air cleaner element

Maintenance / Service Data
1. Loosen the element cover clamps, and remove the element cover
and element holder.
2. Remove the center wing nut, and remove the element.
Clean the air cleaner interior and element mounting
portion if stained.
1. Fit the new element with the center bolt, and tighten it with the wing
nut.
2. Install the element holder and the element cover with its top face
(marked with an arrow) oriented upward.
