Inspecting the Regulator

While blowing in air through the gas inlet, check the hole open to the atmosphere for any leaks.
(Submerge the regulator in water and check for any leaks based on whether air bubbles are
seen.)

Inspecting the Valve Clearance

1. With the bonnet cover removed, set the cylinder being tested to the top of the compression
2. Measure the valve clearance using a thickness gauge.
