7 Installing the Outdoor Unit
Refrigerant piping configuration, allowable piping lengths, and allowable height
differences
Make sure that the refrigerant piping lengths and height differences are within the following ranges.
Piping side
Cooling/heating mix operation units require BS units (units that allow switching between cooling and heating
mode).
You can switch between cooling and heating on each BS unit.

*2: First branch as seen from the outdoor unit

However, the height difference between BS units should not exceed the value of H2 (m).
