The OptiView Control Center is compatible with elec-
tro-mechanical starters, YORK Solid State Starters, or
YORK Variable Speed Drives.
The YORK Mod "B" Solid State Starter, the most re-
cent version, contains a combination Logic/trigger
Board that interfaces the Control Center with a serial
communications link. The Mod "A" Solid State Starter
is not compatible with this kit for Trane model chillers.
The panel comes configured with a full screen LCD
Graphic Display mounted in the middle of a keypad
interface. The graphic display allows the presentation
of several operating parameters at once. In addition,
the operator may view a graphical representation of the
historical operation of the chiller as well as the present
operation. For the novice user, the locations of various
chiller parameters are clearly and intuitively marked.
Instructions for specific operations are provided on
many of the display screens.
