TrueSpeed testing
The OneExpert DSL's optional TrueSpeed test provides a repeatable, stan-
dards-based test methodology to resolve complaints about poor network
performance. With TrueSpeed, you can quickly evaluate the customer
experience of their network and provide actionable information to resolve
problems.
Based on the IETF RFC 6349 TCP throughput testing methodology, True-
Speed provides metrics that can be used to tune TCP parameters for
obtaining maximum throughput.
To run a TrueSpeed test

If you haven't done so, specify the settings for the DSL or Ethernet
interface and then connect to the line.

Select the Tests & Settings system key.

Touch TrueSpeed

Do one of the following:

The TrueSpeed test screen appears.

Select an existing test profile.
Specify a new test profile.

Enter the name of the profile.

Specify the up/download CIR (committed information rate).
For each direction, this should be configured to either the
physical line rate or the provisioned rate, whichever is
lower.
