Using PARTNER Voice Messaging
System Programming
The System Manager's mailbox (Mailbox 0) is a special mailbox that is used to
program PARTNER Voice Messaging. The System Manager uses this mailbox to:
Reinitialize passwords for mailboxes 01–04 if a subscriber forgets the
password.
Change the System Manager's password for the System Manager's
mailbox (0).
Assign PARTNER communications system extensions to mailboxes 01–04.
Record a menu prompt (up to two minutes long).
Assign Selector Codes (that is, the first digit the caller dials in response to
the menu prompt).
The factory-set password for the System Manager's mailbox is 1234. See
"Changing the System Manager's Password," later in this chapter, for instructions
on how to change the password.
