Initial Settings

When the PARTNER ACS or PARTNER Endeavor system is installed, it uses
factory settings that reflect the most common usage of the equipment. You can
change these settings as required to customize them for the business.
When the PARTNER Voice Messaging PC Card is installed in the PARTNER
communications system processor module (see Chapter 3) and the system is
powered up, some settings are established for both PARTNER Voice Messaging
and the PARTNER ACS system or PARTNER Endeavor system.
If you want to make changes to the initial settings for PARTNER Voice Messaging,
use the instructions in "Using PARTNER Voice Messaging System Programming."
If you want to make changes to the initial PARTNER ACS settings, use the
instructions in "Using Communications Systems Programming."

PARTNER Voice Messaging Initial Settings

The following are the initial settings for PARTNER Voice Messaging:
Mailbox 01 is assigned to extension 10.
Mailbox 02 is assigned to extension 11.
Mailbox 03 is assigned to extension 12.
Mailbox 04 is assigned to extension 13.
NOTE:
You can re-assign each mailbox to any other extension in the
communications system.
Extensions 78 and 79 are assigned to the two voice ports on PARTNER
Voice Messaging.
The factory setting for all Selector Codes is Direct Extension Transfer.
The following factory-set Automated Attendant Menu Prompt plays when a
call is received on a line assigned to Hunt Group 7 for Automated
Attendant Service and rings directly into PARTNER Voice Messaging:
"Hello, welcome to the PARTNER Voice Messaging.
Please enter the extension number of the person
you wish to reach. Or to reach the receptionist,
press 0."
The following factory-set mailbox personal greeting plays for individual
subscriber mailboxes (01–04):
"Your party is not available. Please leave a
message after the tone."
