Emergency battery operation

Function
If the mains power fails, the battery automatically takes over the power supply to the control unit. The backflow safeguard is
guaranteed for a maximum of 24 hours if the battery is fully charged (12V) and when using the 8 m connection cable. If you use
the 20 m connection cable, the safeguard is guaranteed for approx. 10 hours.
Display: »Akkubetrieb RV-geöffnet« (Battery operation NRV open) Alarm every 10 seconds (can be switched off using T1).
Emergency shutdown
When the battery charge is failing, the control unit behaves as follows
If the battery charge falls below 11.8 V, the backflow valve closes.

If the battery charge falls below 10.5 V, the control unit is shutdown as an emergency and the display disappears (deep discharge

Assembly / replacement

The battery is located in the control unit. Before commissioning, the connection must be created according to the "Terminal Strip
Allocation" table and the supplied battery fuse must be used (F).
30 seconds after inserting the battery fuse, the charging process begins.
Display shows »Akku lädt« (Battery charging) - Display on inside of cover with green LED.
Batteries are subject to a natural aging and must only be replaced with original spare parts (item no. 471088).
It is necessary to replace the battery if
Q13.9 Volts have not been achieved after a 10 hour charging period – Display: »Fehler Akku / Akku tauschen«

(Battery error / replace battery) or the battery is defective.
Note:
Maintenance works are not possible during battery operation.
