d s WARNING
Securing the Seats:
A djustable seats a n d seatbacks that
are n o t securely locked are
dangerous. In a sudden stop or
collision, the seat or seatback could
m ove, causing injury. M ake sure the
adjustable com ponents o f the seat are
locked in p la ce by attem pting to slide
the seat forw ard a n d backw ard a n d
rocking the seatback.

T he seat-bottom tilt, seat height and seat
slide can be electrically adjusted. M ove
them to the desired positions by using the
sw itch on the seat's low er side.

CAUTION
T he seat-bottom pow er adjust is
operated by a motor. Avoid
extended operation because
excessive use can dam age the
motor.
To prevent the battery from running
down, avoid using the pow er adjust
w hen the engine is stopped. The
adjuster uses a great am ount of
electric power.
D o n 't use the sw itch to m ake m ore
than one adjustm ent at a time.

D riv e r's Seat A djustm ent:
A djusting the d riv er's seat w hile the
vehicle is m oving is dangerous. The
driver could lose control o f the vehicle
a n d have an accident. A d ju st the
d riv er's seat only when the vehicle is
stopped.
To m ove a seat forw ard or backw ard, raise
the lever and slide the seat to the desired
position and release the lever.
M ake sure the lever returns to its original
position and the seat is locked in place by
attem pting to push it forw ard and
backward.
