Add-On Non-Genuine Parts and Accessories

N on-genuine parts and accessories for M azda vehicles can be found in stores.
T hese m ay fit y our vehicle, but they are not approved by the M azda for use w ith M azda
vehicles. W hen you install non-genuine parts or accessories, they could affect your
vehicle's perform ance or safety system ; the M azda w arranty d o esn 't cover this. B efore you

Installation o f N on-G enuine Parts or Accessories:
Installation o f non-genuine p a rts or accessories is dangerous. Im properly designed
p a rts o r accessories could seriously affect y o u r v eh ic le 's perform ance or safety
system . This could cause yo u to have an acciden t o r increase y o u r chances o f injuries
in an accident. A lw ays consu lt an A uth orized M azda D ealer before y o u in stall non-
genuin e p a rts or accessories.
Add-O n Electrical a n d E lectronic Equipm ent:
Incorrectly choosing or installing im proper add-on equipm ent o r choosing an
im proper installer is dangerous. E ssen tial system s could dam aged, causing engine
stalling, air-bag (SRS) activation, A B S inactivation, o r a fire in the vehicle.
Be very carefu l in choosing a n d installing add-on electrical equipm ent, such as
m obile telephones, two-way radios, stereo system s, a n d car alarm systems.
