Fuses

Your vehicle's electrical system is
protected by fuses.
If any lights, accessories, or controls d o n 't
work, inspect the appropriate circuit
protector. If a fuse has blown, the inside
elem ent w ill be m elted.
If the sam e fuse blows again, avoid using
that system and consult an A uthorized
M azda D ealer as soon as possible.
▼ Fuse Replacement
If the electrical system do esn 't work, first
inspect fuses on the driver's side.
1. Turn o ff the ignition sw itch and other
sw itches.
2. O pen the fuse panel cover.

Inspect it and replace if it's blown.

5. Push in a new fuse o f the sam e rating,
and m ake sure it fits tightly. If it
d o esn 't, have an A uthorized M azda
D ealer install it.
If you have no spare fuses, borrow one
o f the sam e rating from a circuit not
essential to vehicle operation, such as
the RA D IO circuit.
A lw ays replace a fuse w ith one o f the
sam e rating. O therw ise you m ay
d am age the electric system .
