Rear Center Position Seat
Belt
Before using the rear-center lap/shoulder
belt m ake sure tongue (A) and anchor
buckle (B) are fastened.
▼ Fastening the Seat Belt
1. G rasp the buckle (D) and tongue (C).
2. Slow ly pull out the lap/shoulder belt.
3. Insert the tongue (C) into the buckle
(D) until you hear a click.

Fastening the R ear-C enter Seat Belt
w ith Only One Buckle:
F astening the rear-cen ter seat belt
w ith only one buckle is dangerous. I f
only one p a ir o f seat b elt tongue a n d
buckle, either tongue (A) a n d an ch or
buckle (B) o r tongue (C) a n d a nchor
buckle (D), is fa sten ed , the seat belt
ca n n o t pro vid e fu ll protection. In a
sudden stop or collision, the user
cou ld slide un der the b elt a n d suffer
serious injuries. A lw ays m ake sure
th a t both p a irs o f sea t b e lt tongues
a n d buckles are fa ste n e d properly.
Positioning the Sh oulder Portion o f
the Seat Belt:
Im proper p o sition in g o f the shoulder
po rtio n o f the sea t b elt is dangerous.
A n im properly p o sitio n ed b e lt w ill
pro vid e little o r no protection in a
collision. A lw ays m ake sure the
sh ou lder p o rtio n o f the seat b elt is
p o sitio n ed across y o u r sh oulder a n d
near y o u r neck, but n ever un der y o u r
arm , on y o u r neck, o r on y o u r upper
arm .
