The ignition sw itch m ust be in the O N
position.
A WARNING
F rozen W asher Fluid:
U sing w indshield w ash er f lu id in
fre ezin g tem peratures is dangerous.
The w asher flu id cou ld fre eze on the
w indshield a n d block y o u r vision.
You cou ld have an accident. D o n 't use
the w asher w ith out f ir s t w arm ing the
w indshield.
NO TE
B ecause heavy ice and snow can jam
the w iper blades, the w iper m otor is
protected by a circuit breaker. This
m echanism w ill autom atically stop
operation of the blades, but only for
about 5 m inutes.
If this happens, turn off the w iper
sw itch and park off the right-of-way,
and rem ove the snow and ice.
A fter 5 m inutes, turn on the sw itch and
the blades should operate norm ally. If
they d o n 't resum e functioning, consult
an A uthorized M azda D ealer as soon
as possible.

Turn the w ipers on by pulling the lever
down.

2 — Fast

Set the lever to IN T and choose the
interval tim ing by rotating the ring.
