AutoPDCisalsoactivatedautomaticallyifthevehicleisapproachinganobjectataspeedbelow
approximately5 km/h.
Usecase:
Thedriverisdrivingalongaroadatapproximately50 km/handaftersometimeapproachesan
entrancegateontheright-handsideoftheroad.Theentrancegateis2.80 mwideandthereisawall
oneachsideofit.Thevehicleturnsrighttodriveintotheentrancegate.Letusassumethatinthis
examplespaceisveryrestrictedandgiventhedifficultcurveradiusthevehicleisapproachingtheleft-
handwalloftheentrancegateatadistanceoflessthanapproximately0.6 m.Inthiscase,thePark
DistanceControlwouldbeactivatedautomatically,ifonapproachingthewallthespeedofthevehicle
doesnotexceedapproximately4 km/h.
