TheactivecruisecontrolwithStop&Gofunction,ACC Stop&Go(OE5DF)isofferedasoptional
equipmentfortheG12aspartoftheZDBDriverAssistancePlusII(5AT)package.
ACCStop&Goadjustsadriver-specifiedsetspeedand,ifrequiredbythetrafficsituation,also
automaticallyadjuststhepreselectedfollowingdistancetothevehicledrivingahead(detected
vehiclesincludepassengercars,trucksandmotorbikes).TheapplicationrangeofACCStop&Go
rangesfromhigherspeedsdowntoastandstill.Thedistanceandthespeedareautomatically
adjustedinthisrange.

Dependingonthestationarytime,drivingofffromastandstillisperformedautomaticallyorin
responsetoapromptbythedriver.ACC Stop&Gonotonlydetectsvehiclesthatareslowlycoming
toahalt,butalsostationaryvehicles.
Duetoimprovedmonitoringinfrontofthevehicle,thesystemiscapableofreactingmorequickly
tovehiclesswinginginandoutandturningoff.
TheextendedapplicationrangehasbeenachievedbytheincorporationoftheKAFASstereocamera.
ImagedataisevaluatedbytheACC Stop&Gosystem.TheKAFAScontrolunitclearlydetectsvehicles
whentheirrearendsarerecordedbythecamera.Inaddition,theKAFAScontrolunitensuresthatthe
drivinglaneinformation,vehiclepositionsandmovementsaredetermined.
Inadditiontoimagedata,radardataisalsogatheredandevaluatedbytheradarsensors.Thisfusion
ofimageandradardatamakespossibletheclearidentificationoflanemarkingsandthedistinction
betweenstationaryvehiclesandotherfixedobjects.
