6.1
Web Introduction
The actual interface might be different dependent on the model you purchased and the version
of software. The figures in the Manual are only for reference, and the actual product shall
prevail.
6.1.1 First-time Login
Step 1
Connect the Camera to network.
1)
Connect the Camera to PC over the Ethernet cable.
2)
Keep the IP address of the PC and the camera on the same network segment.
The network segment can be set as 192.168.1.X, but cannot be the same with the
factory default IP of the Camera (192.168.1.108).
3)
Execute ping ***.***. ***. *** (device IP) command on PC to check network
connection.
Step 2
Enter the IP address of the Camera (192.168.1.108) in the browser address bar, and
press Enter on the keyboard to login the web interface of the Camera.
The Device Initialization interface is displayed. See Figure 6-1.
Step 3
Enter the new password. Select the Email Address check box, and then enter your
email address.
Step 4
Click OK.
The Login interface is displayed. See Figure 6-2.
