Using Blocked Domains will not allow the user to add any email recipient that is in the blocked domain
list. All other domains are allowed. Using Allowed Domains will only allow the user to add recipients
that are contained in the authorized domain list. All other domains are blocked.
1. Open your Web browser and enter the IP address of the printer in the address field. Press Enter to
open CentreWare Internet Services.
2. Click the Properties tab.
3. If prompted, enter the system administrator user name and password (default: admin, 1111).
4. Click the Services folder, then the Email folder.
5. Click Defaults.
6. In the General section, click Edit.
7. In the Domain Filtering section, choose either Allow Domains to specify a list of authorized
domain names or Block Domains to specify a list of restricted domain names.
8. Scroll to the bottom of the screen and select Apply. You will be prompted to reboot the machine.
9. Return to the Domain Filtering section and select the Edit button.
10. Input up to 50 domain names in the domain list.
11. Scroll to the bottom of the screen and click Apply. Supply the Administrator User name and
password if prompted.
Restricting a User from Editing the Address Book
The machine can be configured such that users are not able to edit the public address book that is
stored locally on the device. When using Local Authentication, you may grant certain users the
privilege of editing the address book when this restriction is enabled (See Local Authentication setup).
For all other types of authentication, only the System Administrator will be able to modify the public
address book with this restriction enabled.
1. Press the Log In/Out button on the control panel.
2. Enter the System Administrator's Login ID and Passcode if prompted (default admin, 1111), and
press Enter.
3. Press the Machine Status button.
4. Touch the Tools tab.
5. Select System Settings.
6. Select Common Service Settings
7. Select Other Settings.
8. Select Restrict User to edit Address Book and press Change Settings
9. Choose Yes and press Save.
Only Allow Recipients from the Address Books
The machine may be configured to only allow the user to select email recipients from the Address
Books. This will prevent emails to any recipients that are not contained in the address books. To ensure
security, the users should be restricted from editing the address book when enabling this setting (see
above).
1. Press the Log In/Out button on the control panel.
