Enabling direct pass-through of HDMI, 3G, and
DisplayPort input signals
Allow the signals from HDMI, 3G, and DisplayPort inputs to pass through another projector.
1. Select MENU > Configuration > Input Settings > Enable Video Loop Out.
2. To enable passing HDMI, 3G, and DisplayPort input signals through to another projector, select
Enter.

Disabling secondary DVI receivers

In some cases when using single-link DVI signals, the unused secondary receivers disrupt the signal
detection logic. Disable the secondary receivers if occasional screen flashes are seen while the
projector attempts to re-synchronize to the incoming video.
1. Select MENU > Configuration > Input Settings > Disable Secondary DVI Receiver on
DDIC.
Issuing the (DDD 1) serial command also disables the secondary receivers.
2. To disable the secondary receivers, select Enter.

Informing the source of signal preferences

Configure Mirage 304K to automatically inform the video source of the preferred signal formats.
1. From the display panel, select MENU > Configuration > Input Settings > Advanced EDID
Extensions.
2. To enable the advanced EDID extensions, select Enter.
Christie recommends enabling the advanced EDID extensions.
3. On the projector, select MENU > Configuration > Input Settings > EDID Window Mode.
4. Verify that Auto Detect is selected.
5. If you need a specific frame rate, from the display panel, select MENU > Configuration >
Input Settings > EDID Timing.
6. Select the required EDID timing and select Enter.
60 Hz is the default EDID timing.

Enabling or disabling the high frame rate (HFR)

If the high frame rate (HFR) mode is enabled, the projector can only operate in 2K output resolution.
To use 4K resolution, disable this mode.
This option is only available when the HFR license is installed and the projector is in standby mode.
1. Select MENU > Configuration > Input Settings > High Frame Rate.
2. To change to 2K resolution for HFR, select Enable.
