Overview of higher-order functions

Higher-order functions of the SINUMERIK control are summarized on the following pages. This
provides you with an overview of the commands that go beyond the requirements laid down in
DIN 66025 and that facilitate significant improvements in the area of 5-axis machining.

8.1.1 Motion commands

Language elements with circular interpolation programming
CIP
Circular interpolation through intermediate point
CIP X... Y... Z... I1=... J1= K1=..
CT

Additional parameters:
CR=
Circle radius
I1, J1, K1
Intermediate points in Cartesian coordinates (in X, Y, Z direction)
AP=
End point in polar coordinates, polar angle, also in the case of linear
interpolation
