software
After the processing, the Analyze MyWorkpiece /Toolpath 3D visualization tool allows the
completed geometry from the CAD system, the NC program as well as the recording of the tool
path to be represented concurrently in three dimensions and compared with each other. Filters
and color assignments highlight any potentially problematic areas. They shows immediately
whether the errors are in the NC program or were caused by the machine kinematics or the
clamping.
Optimizations and compensations are possible even before production of a workpiece. For
example, any discrepancies in the NC program caused by an irregular distribution of points,
differences for the travel velocities of neighboring milling paths or tool paths not appropriate for
fine machining are shown.
Missing points in the curvature path
The capability to measure points with micrometer accuracy makes it possible to evaluate
whether errors are surface-relevant. This saves valuable machine time for the production of
faulty parts because corrective work is reduced to a minimum.
