3.5.6 Useful NC commands for active TRAORI

In conjunction with the programming of TRAORI, the following NC commands can help to
simplify programming.
ORIRESET Approach basic position of the tool orientation (ORIRESET)
Through ORIRESET(.,.,.), the orientation axes of the relevant machine kinematics are traversed
linearly and synchronously from their current positions to the programmed basic positions. If a
basic position is not programmed for an axis, the position from the associated machine data
$MC_TRAFO5_ROT_AX_OFFSET_1/2 is used.
Programming:
Example of machine kinematics CA (channel axis names C, A).
ORIRESET(90, 45)
; C to 90 degrees, A to 45 degrees
ORIRESET(, 30)
; C from $MC_TRAFO5_ROT_AX_OFFSET_1/2[0], A to 30 degrees
ORIRESET( )

Defining the preferred direction for active TRAORI with STAT
STAT
For active TRAORI, the control automatically executes compensatory movements of the rotary
axes to achieve specific positions of the tool positioning. Because these compensatory
movements are made by the control in negative and positive rotary axis positions, the preferred
direction can be hard coded with the STAT command. The rotary axes are then moved only in
the positive or negative direction to reach the target position. For example, STAT can be used
instead of prepositioning with CYCLE800.
Programming:
STAT is programmed for ORIWKS and ORIAXES
STAT=-1; (axis remains at - position. Only for ORIAXES)
STAT=1; (axis remains at + position. Only for ORIAXES)
