IFC Networking—Metasys Intelligent Fire Network
The MIB-OWS has four Light-Emitting Diodes (LEDs) on the
mounting bracket that indicate whether the FN network node is
communicating across the FN. During normal operation, two LEDs are on
(with some minor quick blinking) and two are completely off. If all four
LEDs are off and flash every few seconds, the Fire OWS is in the process
of trying to establish communication across the FN.
For more detailed information on the LEDs of the IFC panels or INAs, see
either the Hardware Installation section of the IFC-1010/2020 Technical
Manual (FAN 448) or the Intelligent Network Annunciator (INA)
Technical Bulletin (LIT-448193).
