Internode isolation; fiber optic cable electrically isolates nodes from each other.
Interconnecting the MIB-WF
The MIB-WF can be used as an interface between wire and fiber when
connecting the MIB-F to the MIB-W as shown in Figure 7.
Note: Wiring from the MIB-WF that is situated outside the building:
• cannot exceed 100 m (3,000 ft)
• must be underground and in conduit
• cannot cross any power lines
