IFC Panel
44 IFC Networking—Metasys Intelligent Fire Network
Before connecting the IFC panel to the FN, you must install a
Serial Interface Board (SIB-NET) and a MIB. For instructions on
how to install the SIB-NET board in the IFC panel, refer to the
Serial Interface Board (SIB-NET) Technical Bulletin (LIT-448190).
To install the MIB board on the SIB-NET use the following steps and refer
to Figure 5 for MIB labels:
1. Place the MIB over the SIB-NET and connect P1 on the MIB to P2 on
the SIB-NET.
2. Connect P2 on the MIB to J6 on the SIB-NET.
3. Using the four standoffs and screws supplied, secure the MIB to the
SIB-NET.
