system (AGS)
Fault
Flow indicator is below the
restricted range.
The flow indicator is above
the normal range.

Replacing the particle filter of the active anesthetic gas receiving
system (AGS)
1. Fold down the cover (1).
2. Withdraw the particle filter (2).
3. Insert the cleaned or new particle filter.

Atlan A300, A300 XL, A350, A350 XL SW 1.0n
Cause
The suction power of the
ejector in the terminal unit
of the anesthetic gas
scavenging system
(AGSS) is insufficient.
The particle filter is con-
taminated or blocked.
The suction power of the
ejector in the AGSS termi-
nal unit is too high.
The particle filter is miss-
ing.
Troubleshooting
Remedy
Have the function of the
AGSS terminal unit
checked. Follow the corre-
sponding instructions for
use.
Replace the particle filter.
Have the suction power of
the ejector in the AGSS
terminal unit adjusted to
the working range of the
AGS.
If no soiling can be seen in
the transparent housing of
the AGS or on the flow
indicator, insert the parti-
cle filter.
If soiling can be seen in
the transparent housing of
the AGS or on the flow
indicator, replace the
AGS.
