Set the steering wheel in the centre
position. Use a straight edge or the like.
Note the steering wheel position.

Secure the steering wheel in the centre
position.
4.
Jack up and block the machine with the
wheels on one side on the ground and
the wheels on the other side in the air.
Check that the steering wheel position
has not changed.
5.
Mark the free rolling wheels at the same
angle with tape, chalk line or the like.
6.
Remember the risk of exhaust fumes.
Start the engine and idle.
7.
Check that the steering wheel position
has not changed during the following
test. Run the wheels at least 10 revolu-
tions in one direction and check whether
the markings on the wheels still align
and that they rotate at the same speed.
8.
Stop the engine.
9.
Adjust the synchronisation of the wheel
speed on the long horizontal link rod. It is
designed like a rigging screw and can
remain in position when making
changes.
A longer rod gives a higher speed on the
front wheels.
A shorter rod gives a higher speed on
the rear wheels.
10. Check, with the same steering wheel
position as before, that the adjustment
gives the desired result. If not, repeat
from marking the tyres.
11. When the adjustment has been made,
tighten the locking nuts on the link rod.
