Operation
Setting up Scenes that cannot be accessed from Tabletop
or Wall Controls or that contain multiple zone types
It is possible to generate scenes that cannot be
accessed from other Tabletop or Wall Controls in the
system or that contain different zone types, i.e. Lights
and Sivoia
Shades. However, to recall the scene,
®
more than one command must be issued. To set the
scene, multiple explicit commands will be issued.
As an example, we will use the same room from the
previous example; only we will add a zone of Sivoia
Motorized Shades.
Example:
A room has the following lighting zones addressed to
the RTA-RS232 Interface:
Lighting Zone:
Front Lights
Rear Lights
Wall Washers
Sivoia
Shades
®
The desired scene has the Front Lights set to 25%, the
Rear Lights set to 80%, and the Wall Washers set to
50%. Then the shades will go to the ALLUP position.
To accomplish this you will need to send the following
command lines:
:XC,0,25<CR>
~OK
:XC,1,80<CR>
~OK:
XC,2,50<CR>
~OK
:XC,4,ALLUP<CR>
~OK
The zone settings will now be:
Zone #1
Zone #2
Zone #3
Zone #4
®
Addressed to:
Zone #0
Zone #1
Zone #2
Zone #3
25%
80%
50%
