RTA-RS232 Responses

Prompt

This response from the RTA-RS232 informs the Host that the RTA-RS232 is ready to accept another command.
Once the Host issues a command, it must wait for a prompt before another command may be sent.

CON – Configuration Reports

The configuration reports inform the host of the current configuration settings.

Examples:
~CON,RPT,TYPE,2,L <CR> Indicates that Zone #2 is configured as Lights.
~CON,RPT,RB,ON <CR> Indicates that Reply Back Mode is on
~CON,RPT,REV,3.2 <CR> Indicates that the software revision level is 3.2
ERROR – Error Codes
The RTA-RS232 will provide error codes when an error is detected.

~ERROR,2<CR> The last command processed was invalid, either syntax or range.
