Please note:
The user should also consult the switching on
instructions in the A-B programmable control-
ler manual.
When the controller is switched on, it may auto-
matically make a comparison between the AC-
TUAL and NOMINAL configurations. For this
configuration comparison it is important that the
programmable controller and the connected RIO
slaves are switched on either at the same time
or in the correct sequence.
•
Common power supply:
If the control system and valve terminal/valve
sensor terminal are supplied with power from
a common source, the devices should be
switched on simultaneously by means of a
central switch.
•
Separate power supply:
If the control system and valve terminal/valve
sensor terminal are supplied with power from
separate sources, the devices should be swit-
ched on in the following sequence:
1. Switch on the supply to the valve termi-
nal/ valve sensor terminal.
2. Switch on the supply to the control system.
If the controller detects a discrepancy between
the ACTUAL and NOMINAL configuration, the
programmable controller reacts as follows:
– the red LED lights up.
