4. Installation
5. Connect the ends of the conductors.
6. Replace the connection part onto the housing
of the plug/socket. Pull the cable back so that
it is not looped around inside the bushing.
7. Close the plug as follows:
•
Power supply socket:
Press with the thumb from the front onto the
socket and tighten the housing.
•
Sensor plug, RIO cable socket:
Tighten the knurled nut.
8. Tighten the strain relief of the plug/socket to
prevent the cable connection from becoming
loose.
24 V operating voltage connection
The connection for the operating voltage is on
the left-hand edge of the base unit of the valve
terminal/valve sensor terminal.
PLEASE NOTE
Use only power units which guarantee reliable
isolation of the operating voltages as per IEC
742/EN 60742/VDE 0551 with at least 4 kV
isolation resistance (protected extra low volt-
age, PELV).
Switch power packs are permitted, if they gua-
rantee reliable isolation in accordance with EN
60950/VDE 0805.
