A.16 10BaseT Ethernet sub-card setting menu
This section will explain how to configure Ethernet data sub-card.
A.16.1 Sub-Board Slot Number
In Ethernet sub-card setting menu press number key 1 to configure the number of occupied channels:
The first row displays present configuration value and the second row is for your new configuration.
If you do not set occupied channel number in the second row and just press ENTER, the old
configuration will be reserved. If you set the occupied channel number (the entering must within the
range of 0-31) and press ENTER, the new configuration will be effective. BackSpace key is
available to modify.
The rule of configuring channels is the same as that of V35, please refer to the relative section of
V35 sub-card set.
A.16.2 Channel Select
In Ethernet user board setting menu press number key 2 to select data channel:
In this status use → key to change the configured value: Main channel or Single channel; Press
ENTER to confirm configuration, press E key to finish configuration, and ESC to cancel
configuration.
A.16.3 Buffer Size Set
In Ethernet user board setting menu press number key 3 to set the buffer size:
In this status use → key to change the configured value: >=2Mbps, >1Mbps, >512Kbps, >256Kbps;
Press ENTER to confirm configuration, press E key to finish configuration, and ESC to cancel
configuration.
Note: Buffer size set is aim to deduce time-delay in receiving and transmitting data, the delay
reaches minimum value when buffer size is the same as occupied channels.
A.16.4 Default Port Mode
In Ethernet user card setting menu press number key 4 to set the default port mode:
Transmit phase adjust: Positive, Negative
User Card Slot Number=8
Input Slot Number(0-31):
Data Channel Select: Main Channel
Buffer Size Set:>256Kbps
Default Port Model: Full Duplex
