BER within sub-card is proposed to adopt 211-1 (2047 cycle) sequence according to
recommendations of CCITT 0.152. When using BER tester to test error bit inside sub-card, BER
tester should adopt 211-1 sequence for adding error bit testing.
A.21 Undefined sub-card setting
A.21.1 Timeslot Setting
In undefined sub-card setting menu press number key 1 to configure the number of occupied
channels:
The first row displays present configuration value and the second row is for your new configuration.
If you do not set occupied channel number in the second row and just press ENTER, the old
configuration will be reserved. If you set the occupied channel number (the entering must within the
range of 0-31) and press ENTER, the new configuration will be effective. BackSpace key is
available to modify.
The rule of configuring channels is the same as that of V35, please refer to the relative section of
V35 sub-card setting.

A21.2 Mode 0 Setting

In undefined sub-card setting menu press number key 2 to reset the mode 0 setting menu and the
prompt will be there:
In this status press → key to change value: 0 or 1 and press ENTER or E to confirm setting and exit.
Press ESC will cancel input and exit setting.
