REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
OF BUCKET

3. Fill the space between oil seal (2)
and dust seal (3) with grease.

Grease
Coat the tip of the outer circum-
ference
of the lift arm bushing
with grease.
Insert flange (1) in lift arm. Do not
tap with a hammer.
Be sure to insert by hand.

After inserting, rotate flange 1 to
2 times with the hand until the
flange settles in with the seal.
Insert the flange until there is no
clearance between the inner face
of the flange and the edge face
of the bushing.

Assemble
mounting
side of the
flange the same way.
Assemble
lift arm to bucket and
insert hinge pin.
When
attaching
bucket
to
lift
arm, do not hit flange
(I)
with
the bucket. If the bucket hits the
flange, the oil seal (2) and dust
seal (3) will be damaged.

When
inserting
pin,
do
not
damage
O-ring,
and coat
with
engine oil or grease.
Adjust number of shims so there
is less than 0.2
mm clearance
between
flange
(I)
and bucket
hinge
plate,
then
install
the
mounting bolts of flange.

When
selecting
the shim, mea-
sure
the
clearance
for
each
separable shim mount at the top
and bottom,
and assemble
the
optimum
shim at each location.
Be careful that the flange is not
at an angle.
