Check the lining for wear and re-
place the pad, if the thickness of the
lining is reduced to less than 3 mm.
* Ask your Komatsu distributor for
replacement of the pad.

Take
care not to stain the
brake pad and the disc surface
with oil or grease.
FAN BELT AND TENSIONER
Method of replacement
Loosen lock nut (2). then loosen
bolt (3).
Push the tension pulley (I) in the
direction of arrow to a position
where the belt can be removed,
then replace the belt.
* When changing belts, do not
only change one belt. Always
change as a set.
Adjustment procedure
If noise comes from the belt,
tighten adjustment bolt (3) to make
A dimension 80 mm, and lock in po-
sition with lock nut (2).
+ Tightening torque: 38 kgm
Ir When the belt is new, A dimen-
sion is about 100 mm.
