5.2.1 Installing the Socket Adapter on the Foot Adapter
INFORMATION
Positioning the socket adapter on the test adapter
The socket adapter can be installed on the test adapter in three different
positions (12 mm anterior offset – centred – 12 mm posterior offset).
Required tools and materials:

501D41=M6x20 countersunk head screws, degreasing cleaner (e.g.
636A58), 636K13 Loctite® 241
1) For definitive mounting, clean the screw connection area using a
degreasing cleaner.
2) Set the socket adapter with the intermediate pressure plate and the
spacer plate onto the sport foot adapter in the desired position (see
fig. 2).
3) Secure the screw connections with Loctite®.
4) INFORMATION: During installation, first tighten the anterior and
then the posterior countersunk head screws.
Mount the socket adapter on the sport foot adapter with the countersunk
head screws (mounting torque: 12 Nm).
5.2.2 Installing the Test Adapter on the Prosthetic Foot
Required tools and materials:

710D4 torque wrench
1) Slide the test adapter onto the prosthetic foot from the proximal direc­
tion, move it to the desired position and tighten the 4 set screws.
2) Tighten the 4 set screws to the required mounting torque value (15 Nm)
to secure the test adapter for the dynamic trial fitting (see fig. 3).
