Power supply unit

NOTE
For the following tests do not connect any external battery or DC supply to
the Savina 300.
Electrical supply display
Prerequisites
The Savina 300 is connected to the mains power supply.
Action
• Set the Savina 300 to „Standby" mode.
Test
The LEDs on the front indicate the following operating states:
– „Mains power supply" LED lit green; „External battery" LED out
– „Internal battery" LED lit „green" when internal rechargeable batteries fully
Entry
Internal supply voltage (internal battery)
Prerequisites
Savina 300 is in „Standby" mode.
Action
• Cut the mains power supply to the Savina 300.
Test
The acoustic alarm sounds. The message "Internal battery activated" is dis-
played on a yellow background. The LEDs on the front of the device indicate
the following operating states:
– „Mains power supply" LED out; „External battery" LED out
– „Interne battery" LED lit „green" or lit „yellow"
Action
• Press the „Start/Standby" key and switch the Savina 300 to „VC-CMV/VC-

The blower runs up to speed. Ignore the error messages and alarms during
this test.
Action
• Connect the Savina 300 to the mains power supply.
Power failure alarm
Action
• Remove the fuse for the internal rechargeable battery. The fuse is located

The message "Internal battery is missing" is displayed on a red background.
Action
• Press the „Alarm Reset" key.
• Cut the mains power supply to the Savina 300.
Test
All LEDs on the front are out. The acoustic power failure warning sounds.
Action
• Switch off Savina 300.
Test
The acoustic alarm stops.
Action
• Re-insert the fuse for the internal rechargeable battery.
• Restore the mains power supply to the Savina 300.
• Switch on the Savina 300.
• Set the Savina 300 to „Standby" mode.
