Check the horizontal and vertical auger drive chains for proper tension (Figure 67) The tension should be adjusted for
a maximum of 1/2" (12mm) deflection to the longest straight section of chain (Figure 68)

To increase drive chain tension, loosen both the side bolt of the tensioner and the locking nut on the tension
bolt, then turn the tension bolt clockwise until proper tension is obtained Once proper tension is set, tighten
both the side bolt and the locking nut DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN THE SIDE BOLT

To decrease drive chain tension or to replace drive chain, loosen both the side bolt of the tensioner and the
locking nut on the tension bolt, then turn the tension bolt counter-clockwise until proper tension is obtained
Once proper tension is set, tighten both the side bolt and the locking nut DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN THE SIDE
