Procedure
Step 1 Perform a pre-replacement check.
Check whether there is a redundant fan module and whether the Running/Alarm indicator of
the fan module is steady green, as shown in
different components, see
Enclosure.

You can perform replacement only when a redundant fan module exists and the redundant fan
module is working properly.
Step 2 Wear an ESD wrist strap.

Press the latch on the panel to open the panel.
Press the latches on the fan module to pull out the fan module.
