Using the Retardant Spray System

The retardant spray system is controlled by a switch located on the right joystick.
Requirements ■ Water or water-based retardant in water tank
■ Ambient temperature above freezing
Procedure Perform the procedure below to operate the retardant spray system.
1. Fill the water tank (d) with clean water or water-based retardant.
2. Open the valve (a).

3. Press and hold the water spray switch (b) to activate the pump. The water or
retardant will spray from the two nozzles (c).
NOTICE: Drain the retardant spray system if the machine will be subject to
temperatures below freezing. Frozen water or frozen retardant may damage the
retardant spray system.
