7.3.3 Connecting MIDI Equipment
7.9 TRAKTOR AUDIO 10 in a setup with a MIDI controller and external MIDI equipment.

Make sure the TRAKTOR AUDIO 10 software is installed correctly, the interface is
connected to your computer, and the power supply is plugged in as described in chapter
3. Also make sure to have the soundcard set up as your computer's main audio output
device (chapter 4) before you proceed.
To use your TRAKTOR AUDIO 10 in a setup with a MIDI controller and possibly external
MIDI equipment:
1.
Set the volume on your active speakers / stereo amplifier to minimum.
2.
Connect the OUT 1/2 channel on the front panel of the TA10 to your active speakers
/ stereo amplifier. Use a stereo RCA (phono) cable. In case your active speakers have
1/4" or XLR sockets, use RCA adapter cables to connect them to the TA10.
