Faults and alarms
Cause: The signal source for control word p30475 supplies an invalid value.
Fault cause:
1 (= 01 hex):
Open-loop controlled and closed-loop controlled mode has been simultaneously selected via the control word.
2 (= 02 hex):
Several open-loop controlled modes have been simultaneously selected via the control word.
3 (= 03 hex):
Neither open-loop controlled nor closed-loop controlled mode has been selected via the control word.
4 (= 04 hex):
An open-loop controlled mode has been selected via the control word that does not match the configuration. A previous/
subsequent slave was selected, although a previous/subsequent segment is not configured.

Remedy: Check the program of the higher-level control that generates the control word, and if necessary, adapt.
For fault cause = 1:
Ensure that open-loop controlled and closed-loop controlled mode are not simultaneously selected.
For fault cause = 2:
Ensure that only one open-loop controlled mode is selected.
For fault cause = 3:
Ensure that only one operating mode is selected (closed-loop controlled or open-loop controlled mode).
For fault cause = 4:
Ensure that the control word that is generated, matches the system configuration.
