Compressor Compressor

Possible Causes

Excessive Airflow
across the evaporator
coil
•
Heavy Load
•
Return duct damaged
•
Sensing Bulb is loose
•
Over charge of
refrigerant
•
Non-condensable
•
Undersized refrigerant
pipe
•
Expansion valve
Overfeed
•
Faulty high pressure
switch. Cut out:
R410A at 575 PSI or
R407 at 450PSI.
•
Incorrect settings on
the controller
•
Not enough Heat Load
or Oversized System
•
Temperature Dead
Band is set too low
•
Humidity Dead Band
is too low (causing
frequent dehum
cycles).

Corrective Actions
•
High indoor temperature, check
blower speed, and check
equipment selection
•
Check return duct for leakage
and check temperature entering
evaporator coil
•
Tighten bulb bracket
•
Check sub-cooling (8-10) and
adjust charge if necessary
•
Recover charge, evacuate, then
re-charge system
•
Refer to your respective IOM
manuals for more details. Follow
the recommended tables.
•
Adjust and check valve
operations
•
Replace high pressure switch
Go to Menu L- Configure I/O and
change the High Pressure Switch
action setting

Check for heat load
