The specified approvals apply only when the corresponding mark is printed on the product.
You can check which of the following approvals have been granted for your product by the
markings on the type plate.
EC directives
SIPLUS HCS products complies with the requirements and protection objectives of the
following EC directives.
Low-voltage directive
SIPLUS HCS products complies with the requirements of the EC directives:
2014/35/EU "Electrical Safety". The product is designed in accordance with EN 50178.
Guideline 2011/65/EU (RoHS 2)
Information on disposal, see section Recycling and disposal (Page 203).
EMC directive (electromagnetic compatibility)
SIPLUS HCS products complies with the requirements of the EC directives:
2014/30/EU "Electromagnetic Compatibility"
The product is designed for operation in industrial areas with the following requirements:
● Interference emission according to EN 61000-6-4
● Noise immunity according to EN 61000-6-2
Note for the manufacturers of machines
This product is not a machine in the sense of the EC Machinery Directive. Therefore there is
no declaration of conformity relating to the EC Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC for this
product.
