Line voltage compensation

Line voltage compensation
Line voltage compensation makes it possible to achieve a balanced output on the power
outputs, even when the voltage deviates from normal values. The function can be switched
on and off by the user in the cyclic data.
The compensation factor, or the setpoint, is calculated as follows:

• POM4220 Lowend, POM4220 Midrange phase angle control, POM4220 Flexible
Line voltage compensation is only available if a PM4000 U/I is plugged in. The correction
factors for all channels are calculated using the measured values of this I/O module.
• POM4220 Highend, POM4320
The calculation of the correction factors for all channels is done with the measured values
of the respective POM.
• POM4220 Highend (connection between phase and phase), POM4320
The standard voltage value is calculated as follows:
Standard voltage value POM4320 = CIM parameter • √3
• POM4220 Highend
For economy circuit type of connection, no mains voltage compensation.
Operation of a POM4220 Flexible
Note
• Without POM4220 Flexible or mixed equipment with POM4220 Flexible
The parameter can be specified within the limits of 207 V to 300 V.
• Only POM4220 Flexible
The parameter can be specified with at least 40 V. The corresponding voltage must be
connected to the U/I module.
